The Disastrous salmon season continues along the Skeena watershed, more and more citizens are getting a sense of uncertainty.
DFO says the sockeye returns noted have been the lowest since 2013.
This is only the second time first nations have agreed not to fish for Sockeye Salmon in the river.
DFO official Colin Masson says the discussions between the first nations and recreational sector have been very encouraging.
Recreational fishing will re-open on July 15th with the exception of Sockeye.. however Pinks, Coho and Chum will be fair game.
