Prince George RCMP arrested Smithers man in connection with an armed robbery Tuesday afternoon.
Mounties were called to a holdup alarm at a TD Bank location in the College Heights area of Prince George shortly before 2:30.
Investigators determined that a masked man armed with what appeared to be a handgun had entered the bank and demanded cash.
Police, with the help of a dog team, located a 31 year-old man in a wooded area not far from the bank over three hours later.
Mounties say they seized the stolen money, a vehicle, and an airsoft pistol.
The suspect, who police say has no history with police, is expected to appear in court in Prince George Thursday.
