Residents of the north coast should brace for a double whammy of bad weather.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall and arctic outflow warning for North Coast inland sections.
Kitimat is expected to get hit with 15 to 25 centimetres of snow, while other areas will see anywhere from 10 to 15 centimetres.
It’s expected the snow will ease off by tomorrow morning.
If the snow wasn’t enough, an arctic outflow bringing wind chills of minus 20 are also expected for several days.
Strong outflow winds of 50 km/h, gusting to 70 km/h are expected.
