Environment Canada has ended a snowfall warning for inland sections of BC’s North Coast, but the dump of snow is still being felt.
Forecasters say a frontal system over the region dumped about 30 cm of snow in the Stewart area before moving on.
The snow has caused slippery conditions and some traffic tie-ups across the region.
The transportation ministry says the rough weather has brought down trees and hydro lines, closing Highway 37A between Stewart and Hyder.
