Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for inland sections of the North Coast.
Forecasters expect between 15 and 20 cm of snow as a low pressure system approaches the BC coast Monday and intensifies.
Snowfall, at times heavy, is expected to develop Monday morning with 15 cm for the Terrace and Stewart areas and near 10 cm in the Kitimat region.
The now is expected to change to rain late Monday afternoon near Kitimat and taper to flurries Monday night in the Terrace and Stewart regions.
Environment Canada says the snow may cause sudden reduced visibility for drivers.
Motorists are advised to adjust their driving according to the conditions and give themselves extra time.
