Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for inland sections of the North Coast.
Forecasters expect 15 to 20 cm of snow Friday night and into Saturday morning as a Pacific frontal system moves over the coast.
Stewart is expected to get the brunt of the snow with lesser amounts near Terrace.
The heavy snow will ease off to isolated flurries by late Saturday afternoon as the system moves inland.
