Environment Canada has lifted a snowfall warning for Burns Lake, but the warning for Smithers and northwest sections of the Bulkley VAlley-Lakes.
While lower elevations won’t likely see too much of the white stuff on the ground, pockets of wet snow and rain will continue as the temperatures hover around the freezing mark.
Forecasters say the main area of concern remains the road between Topley and Granisle which could see 10 cm before the system moves out of the area later on Thursday.
Expect poor visibility due to heavy snow and slippery conditions on streets and highways.
