While there was no race for the District of Mackenzie’s mayor, there will be a couple of new faces on council.
Joan Atkinson was acclaimed as mayor and many of the incumbent councillors were returned by voters, including Andy Barnes, Amber Hancock, Raye McMeeken, and Jim Wiens.
New members of council will include Viktor Brumovsky, who got the second highest number of votes, and Peter Grogan.
Incumbent David Forshaw did not make the cut.
