Speed, booze possible factors in fatal crash

Prince George RCMP say excessive speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in a fatal crash over the weekend.

Investigators say a pickup with five people rolled along Highway 97 early Saturday morning in the north end of the city.

The 22-year-old man at the wheel was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured, but his four passengers were ejected from the vehicle.

A 21-year-old man was killed, a 20 year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and two 19 year-old females received minor injuries.

No names have been released. RCMP are investigating.
