Eligible residents who have not yet received their voter package for the on-going electoral reform referendum may need to start thinking about requesting a package.
Eligible voters are any resident who will be 18 years if age or older as of November 30th that has lived in BC for at least 6 months prior to the referendum, and is a Canadian Citizen.
If you fill those criteria but have not yet received a package, fear not, there are still a few ways to go about getting one:
You can attend a Service BC Centre or Referendum Service Office (follow this link to find a location), call Elections BC at 1 800 661 8683, or request one online by following this link.
According to Elections BC, rolling Canada Post strikes have not affected the mailing of the packages, but if they do, the voting period will be extended.
