Environment Canada has posted a wind warning for coastal sections of the BC Central Coast region.
Forecasters expect a series of Pacific storms to lash the region over the next two days.
Strong southeasterly winds have developed over northern Vancouver Island and the Central Coast. Wind will rise to 90 Km/h Tuesday morning and gradually die down in the evening.
Another system is expected to hit the coast early Wednesday with strong southeast winds to redevelop then.
Damage to buildings, including roof shingles and windows may occur and loose objects may be tossed by gusts causing injury or damage.
