Summer Fun

I don’t know about you, but summer has flown by on my end.  Between extra-curriculars with the Hospital Foundation like our Kitsumkalum Tempo Fishing Derby a couple weeks back, my work schedule, my daughter’s graduation, all my training hikes and now an upcoming trip planned for Seattle, it’s been craziness.

But a good crazy…like the “keeps you out of trouble crazy”.  So one can’t really feel bad.  Of course I always wish there was more time for relaxing, but I’m sure I suffer from some form of ADHD so relaxation doesn’t really jive well with me lol.  I always find something to fill up idle time.  Probably why I’m really excited about Seattle. Asides from visits, I really have nothing planned.  I’ll probably section hike a small part of the PCT while I’m down there….see in person what I’ll be facing, well about 1% of it anyway lol.

Speaking of PCT hike planning, my dehydrator arrived last week.  I’ve already dehydrated blueberries and as of yesterday afternoon, there’s cinnamon apple chips on the go. I’m dissapointed to know it’s still about 1,000 days away lol.  Can you tell I’m a TAD excited for this hike?

Don’t forget Concerts in the Park is coming up next weekend with headliners The Stampeders.  Congrats to our Concerts in the Park VIP winner Jackie Ritchie of Terrace, she wins the Avondale outdoor furniture set, GoPro camera, meals and meet and greet with the Stampeders.  Once again Congrats Jackie, we here hope you have an amazing time!!!!

Until next time, have a great and safe weekend!
