Taylor Bachrach will get another term as mayor of the Town of Smithers.
Bachrach received 1137 votes compared to challenger Randy Bell’s 639.
Newcomer Casda Thomas got the most votes for a council seat, followed by incumbents Frank Wray and Gladys Atrill, Lorne Benson who served prior to 2015, incumbent Greg Brown, and new face John Buikema.
