Northwest residents will soon be able to make use of the newly renovated Terrace and District Aquatic Centre.
The City of Terrace says the pool will open November 22nd after being closed since March of 2017.
The City is offering free admission during public swim & gym hours Monday to Friday 3 pm to 8 pm and Saturday & Sunday 12 pm to 5 pm until December 2nd.
The $8.8 million revitalization project was originally expected to open in mid-July. A further setback occurred in August when a defect in the tile installation around the main pool was discovered.
Work on the additional $175,000 foyer project at the pool continues.
