Terrace City Council met yesterday to establish their financial plan for the next 5 years.
Over the next 5 years, council is projecting a revenue of just under 23 million per year, granting them a projected surplus of roughly 1 million by the end of 2023.
Council is projecting a closing surplus of just over 2 million at the end of 2018, a year which has seen them spend close to 28 million dollars.
For 2019, council is projecting an expenditure of 4 million dollars less, at 23.5 million, with 2.7 of that going toward capital projects within the city.
On top of the overall financial plan, council also laid out budgets for their Sewer Fund and Water Budget for the same time period.
These projects are expected to see modest surpluses of 140 thousand, and 240 thousand respectively by the end of 2023.
