Just over 95 thousand dollars is being allocated to cover travel expenses for Terrace City Council through 2019.
The funds will cover numerous conferences and forums throughout the year, with the UBCM Conference in Vancouver taking up the largest potion of funding at nearly 30 thousand dollars.
Trips to Williams Lake, Chetwynd, Prince George, Richmond, and Quebec City for various conferences will also be covered by the funding.
Minerals North, the BC Natural Resources Forum, and elected officials training are just some of the events slated for 2019.
On top of the travel budget, Council also set their preliminary sundry budget, which covers expenses such as committe and membership dues, staff events, and various city funds, at 57 thousand 575 dollars.
