As part of their inaugural meeting yesterday, Terrace City Council decided who would fill three important positions as representatives for this version of council.
Councillors James Cordiero and Sean Bujtas were appointed as Regional District of Kitimat Stikine Directors, with Mayor Carol Leclerc and Councillor Lynne Christiansen selected as alternates.
Mayor Carol Leclerc was chosen to represent council on the Northwest Regional Advisory Committee for the Northern Development Initiative Trust, with Councillor Brian Downie filling the role of alternate.
Finally, New Councillor Evan Ramsay was appointed to fill the role of liaison to the Terrace Public Library, with fellow first-time Councillor Jessica McCallum-Miller chosen as alternate.
All three positions hold one year terms.
