LNG Canada representatives met with Terrace council yesterday to update them on the Kitimat LNG project.
According to Mayor Carol Leclerc, the buzz around the project is overwhelmingly positive despite the lack of a positive final investment thus far.
The Mayor estimates that a final investment in the project could be seen within the next month or two.
The positivity is a stark contrast to what has been seen around attempts to bring and LNG plant to the Northwest in the past.
