Three projects in Terrace now have Council’s support in their attempts to procure funding from the Northern Development Initiative Trust fund.
Terrace Little Theatre is seeking 26 thousand dollars in funding to help modernize their tech booth and update equipment.
A second application will ask for 30 thousand dollars from the NDIT to go towards the 70 thousand dollar replacement of playground equipment at Kin Park.
30 thousand dollars is the maximum that can be requested for facility improvement, and the City has budgeted the remaining 40 thousand.
And rounding out the applications is one requesting 20 thousand dollars to continue the Business Facade Improvement program.
All three projects will be receiving letters of support from City Council for their applications.
