Three new projects in Terrace are being suggested for the next intake of grants from the Rural Dividends Fund.
The largest request would allow the implementation of the Northwest Resident and Workforce Attraction Project, a 5 year program which is estimated to cost around 350 thousand dollars.
The project aims to make working in the northwest look more appealing to possible skilled workers via an online portal and website focusing on employment opportunities.
An application for 10 thousand dollars for the creation of a heritage conservation plan to evaluate areas of cultural significance, and an application for additional funding for the Skeena Salmon Art Festival will also be submitted to the fund.
