Terrace City Council will be penning a letter to the provincial government following a request made yesterday.
The letter in question will focus on the possible implimentation of a new property assessment program relating to clean energy installs.
A similar program, which would alter the way energy efficieny upgrades are taxed and possibly make them more commonplace, has already been made law by many other provinces.
Alberta’s system, titled PACE, was legally adopted in June.
While a request was made to give support to an existing letter, council instead decided that it would be a better option for them to write their own.
