Terrace RCMP say three men described by police as prolific offenders will be off the streets for a while after they were convicted of various offences.
Mounties say 48 year-old Mark Barg was sentenced to nearly 6 months in jail following convictions on two counts of Theft Under $5000 and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Police say 38 year-old Matthew Janzen of Thornhill will be in jail for nearly three months for possession of a firearm contrary to a ban related to a break and enter file and a conviction for possessing stolen property.
Clayton Jordan, age 33 of Thornhill, was convicted of Theft Under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with a Probation Order. RCMP say he’s expected to be behind bars until January 21, 2018.
Jordan is also awaiting court for numerous other charges, including Possess a Prohibited Weapon with Ammunition, Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, and Careless Use of a Prohibited Weapon.
