Terrace RCMP arrested a Kitimat resident for drug trafficking Thursday.
Police say plain clothes officers took the 29 year-old into custody at a parking lot near Highway 16 and Highway 37.
Investigators say they seized what appears to be cocaine packaged in plastic bags.
The man had two children in the vehicle with him at the time of the arrest. Police contacted the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
The man was released on a Promise to Appear in Court.
