Terrace RCMP are looking for a suspect responsible for spraying a man in the face with bear mace.
Police were originally called to the 3000 block of Kalum Street last Wednesday for reports of an assault in progress, but the suspect had already fled the scene by the time they arrived.
Later that evening, police received a separate report of a man being sprayed in the face with bear mace, this time on the 4600 block of Lakelse Avenue.
Both victims were transported to hospital to treat their respective injuries.
Police believe the two incidents may be connected and are asking anyone with any information to contact Terrace RCMP at 250 638 7400.
