Terrace RCMP seize crack at apartment building twice in three days

Up to five people could be facing drug charges after Terrace RCMP raided an apartment for drugs twice in three days.

The first search by Mounties on the Lakelse Avenue residence March 22nd yielded both cash and crack cocaine.

Three men, ages 29, 27, and 26 were arrested in the apartment along with a 27 year-old woman.

Three days later, police executed another warrant at the home and arrested the same 29 year-old man and 27 year-old woman in the apartment.

RCMP also searched the apartment next door and arrested a 56 year-old man. Officers also seized cocaine and money in the apartment.

Terrace RCMP say they seized approximately $7000 in cash and what investigators say is $22,000 worth of crack cocaine.

RCMP say the 29 year-old man was being held for court while charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.
