Terrace RCMP still looking for witnesses to hit and run

Terrace RCMP are still looking for witnesses to a hit and run, in an update to a CFNR story from yesterday.

An elderly man crossing Keith Ave in the crosswalk west of the Sande Overpass was struck and injured in a hit and run yesterday at approximately 8:30am.

Two women helped the man and called an Ambulance for him.

These two women likely witnessed the incident and we would like to speak with them, or any other witnesses, says Constable Angela Rabut, Community Policing/Media Relations Terrace RCMP.

The involved car is described as green in color.

It had slowed down for another pedestrian that was in front of the man then sped up and struck the man in the left arm area, causing injuries that required hospital treatment.

If you have information about this crime contact the Terrace RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
