With the help of a trusty police dog, RCMP in Terrace were able to round up a would-be car thief who attempted to run from police.
In the early morning hours on Sunday, police received reports of an intoxicated man attempting to take a vehicle on the 2400 block of Tetrault Street.
While the man was unsuccessful, he later returned to the scene and ended up in a fight with another individual.
When police arrived, the man immediately fled the scene on foot, but was eventually tracked down with the help of a police service dog.
The man was arrested for breaching a probation order and obstruction.
