According to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Terrace has seen construction start on 55 new dwellings to date in 2018, up from 4 over the same time period last year.
Of the 55 dwellings, 45 are apartments and the other 10 are single-dwelling homes.
In total there are 66 dwellings currently under construction within the Terrace boundaries.
2018 is still trailing 2018 when it comes to the number of completed homes however, with 13 to date compared to 16 at this point last year.
