In order to combat additional costs to the city, Terrace Council have approved changes to their Fees and Services Bylaw which set the municipal cannabis license fee at 15 hundred dollars.
Originally, development services had recommended a licensing fee of 500 dollars annually.
The 15 hundred dollar charge would be a one time fee that will be in addition to the 75 hundred dollar provincial licensing fee.
The new fee is comparable to liquor licensing fees which the city has set at 500 dollars to the province’s 25 hundred.
