Terrace woman charged with manslaughter

A 19 year old Terrace woman has been charged with manslaughter in the stabbing death of her common-law husband.

Isabelle Johnny appeared in Terrace Provincial court today.

Early Saturday morning, RCMP were called to a downtown Terrace apartment where they discovered Zachary Turner-Good bleeding from the chest.

He was rushed to hospital by police, but died of his wound a short time later.

Johnny is well known to police and at the time of the incident was on three separate probation orders, including one in relation to a domestic assault on the deceased.

Members from the Terrace RCMP, Terrace General Investigations Section, Forensic Identification Section and North District Major Crimes are continuing their investigation.

  1. My name is Delbert Good, father of Zachary Turner-Good, I am still in shock of our sons death, I was further dismayed of the news that the suspect was only charged with manslaughter. I know as a reporter you have a job to do, but in my eyes you have not done your do diligence by not speaking to the family or even bothered to find out who we or my son was. My son was the victim of abuse in this relationship, I do hope in the future you will hear the ‘real’ truth from our grieving family.
