The search for a missing Telkwa woman near Terrace came to a tragic conclusion over the weekend.
RCMP and Terrace Search and rescue began combing the Gossen Creek area July 5th, after 34 year-old Chantelle Simpson’s vehicle was found in the area.
Simpson was reported missing after she left her Telkwa home July 4th.
RCMP say Simpson’s body was discovered by a train conductor in the Skeena River Sunday afternoon.
Terrace Search and Rescue assisted with the recovery operation.
