Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will plead his case for the Trans Mountain Pipeline purchase in the Fraser Valley this morning.
The Prime Minister will meet with the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee to discuss work on the monitoring of existing pipelines and the future of the Trans Mountain.
Federal government officials maintain that more Indigenous groups support the pipeline than oppose it and, according to Finance Minister Bill Morneau, several have expressed an interest in investing.
Trudeau will also be in Edmonton today, visiting the Kinder Morgan terminal.
