The Prince George RCMP is reporting two more armed robberies over the weekend.

Last Saturday, at around 10:45pm the police were notified of an armed robbery at a store on the 2900 block of 5th Avenue.

A lone male suspect had entered the business, produced a weapon and demanded cash and tobacco products.

The employees complied and the suspect fled on foot before police could be called.

No one was hurt, and unfortunately the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as:

  • First Nations male
  • Approximately 168 cm (5’6″)
  • Wearing a black ski mask, red bandana, black half zip sweater, grey pants

Then on Sunday at around 9:30pm, police responded to another report of an armed robbery, this time at a store on the 4100 block of 15th Avenue.

A lone male suspect entered the business and demanded money, but he fled the store on foot empty handed.

Again no one was hurt.

The suspect is described as:

  • Non-white male
  • 18 to 25 years old
  • Approximately 168 cm to 170 cm (5’6″ to 5’7″)
  • Thin but athletic build
  • Approximately 59 to 68 kg (130 to 150 lbs)
  • Wearing a black balaclava, black long sleeve base layer shirt, grey “skinny type” jeans and black slip on dress shoes

Prince George RCMP have responded to five armed robberies since the middle of February and believe all five were committed by the same person.

If you have any information that can help the police, phone the Prince George RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
