Two Smithers men are among a dozen people arrested as part of a multi-million dollar drug bust in Alberta.
Police say 31 year-old Todd Randall Chapman and 27 year-old Dennis Galen Ross of Smithers were caught up in a year-long investigation into organized crime in Calgary.
The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team says officers seized cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana that were allegedly supplied throughout the province.
Police also seized several weapons, $600,000 cash, and five luxury vehicles.
The 12 suspects face dozens of charges, including conspiracy, organized crime, drug and weapons-related offences.
