The University of Northern British Columbia is one of four schools looking to revamp social infrastructure in BC post secondary schools.
Simon Fraser University, Vancouver Island University, and BCIT, will team up with UNBC to form the BC Collaborative for Social Infrastructure.
The collab will focus on developing initiatives that will bring greener and more sustainable camuses to universities, bring a focus to Indigenous entrepreneurship and social finance, expand social procurement, and add library outreach and community scholar programs.
Funding for the program will come via a partnership with the McConnell Foundation.
