The University of Northern British Columbia is being recognized internationally as one of the best young universities in the world.
For the first time in school history, the 25 year-old university was ranked among the world’s elite young universities on the Times Higher Education list.
The list ranks the top 250 universities aged 50 and under in the world.
UNBC ranked highly in the international outlook category, as well as scoring major points for the global impact of its research.
The research-intensive university placed in the 151 to 200 range on the list.
