The uncle of the 32-year-old who died in a crash west of Moricetown says it was a shocking and powerful moment when he learned he lost his nephew and gained a great nephew.
David Hall passed away in a crash on Highway 16 when a moose struck the vehicle he and his wife Kimberly were in just west of Moricetown on March 10th.
Kimberly’s injuries resulted in her having an emergency C-section to deliver their son prematurely.
David’s uncle Todd Stockner says Kimberly and the baby, who’s been named Noah David Hall, look to be improving day-by-day.
He says David Hall was one of the most caring and inspirational men you could meet.
A GoFundMe page has been set-up to support the family and has so far raised $76,000.
Stockner says the family is truly grateful that northern B.C. and people from all over are showing them support.
