With their purchase of Lakelse Air, Universal Helicopters has become the only Indigenous owned coast-to-coast helicopter service in Canada.
Following the sale, the Newfoundland based company will inherit all of Lakelse Air’s assets, including 12 aircraft.
The company will continue to operate out of Terrace as a separate company, retaining all pre-sale staff and management.
A final sale price was not disclosed.
