Police in Prince George say a man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a violent incident yesterday morning.
Mounties say the injured man was found at about 10:30am, and the Detachment’s Serious Crime and Forensic Identification Sections are investigating.
Foul play is suspected.
Over 20 RCMP cars blocked roads in the area as police probed the scene yesterday.
Officers have not revealed any further details about the incident or the man’s identity.
Investigators are requesting the public’s help with this investigation.

Update: Police have now reported that the victim, a 45 year old man, has passed away in hospital from injuries sustained after being shot. The victim was found at the corner 5th Ave and Gillett St.
