Walk a Mile in Her Shoes will be taking place in Kitwanga October 4th.
The event has men march in high heels to help stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence.
Organizer RJ Olson hopes the event will start a discussion.
Anissa Watson is also helping with the event and says there’s no shame for men to get any help they need.
The event will begin at the Gitwangak Hall.
A candlelight vigil will follow at the Kitwanga Gas Station at the Highway 16 and Highway 37 junction to honour the murdered and missing Indigenous women along the Highway of Tears.
