One rafter is dead following an incident on the Chilcotin River.
RCMP were called to the Bull Canyon recreation site after being notified of two overdue rafters Wednesday.
They failed to return from a trip on the Chilcotin River. Both men were expected to arrive at 3pm but failed to return. The Williams Lake RCMP were notified around 10pm Wednesday and search and rescue personnel were immediately sent out.
Corporal Madonna Saunderson says one rafter was found by members of the public.
The other rafter was found deceased Thursday morning by search and rescue crews.
The condition of the survivor is unknown at this time.
The BC Coroners Service and police are continuing the investigation.
