Avalanche Canada is warning of dangerous conditions in the mountains in the Northwest.
The agency says mountains in the coastal area are seeing a considerable to high risk of an avalanche.
They say the fresh dumping of snow, warmer temperatures and higher winds are triggering the greater chance of an avalanche.
As for the inland mountains, there’s a considerable to moderate risk.
The risk is expected to remain fairly high over the next few days.
Officials are urging everyone to use extreme caution if anybody plans to venture out.
