RCMP have arrested two people believed to be connected with several break and enters in Wells, Bowron Lakes, and Likely areas.
Wells RCMP seized a vast amount of property which is believed to have been stolen in regional B&Es.
Nicholas Turner and Tania Jordanov are charged with Break and Enter with intent to commit an indictable offce, two counts of possession of stolen property obtained by crime under $5000, and one count of taking a motor vehicle without consent.
Investigators are asking any theft or break and enter victims to call and report the incident to police and to provide as much detail as possible about the stolen items.
Quesnel RCMP say they’ve seen an increase in property crime and have put additional resources in place to combat the trend.
Police are reminding the public to remain vigilant, report suspicious behaviour to the police, and to secure and document their property.
