Environment Canada says heavy rain and gusty winds are expected to hit areas of the North and Central Coast Sunday night and into Monday.
Forecasters say an intense frontal system is rapidly approaching BC from the west, prompting a rainfall warning for coastal sections of the North Coast.
Coastal sections can expect 100 to 125 mm of rain through Monday with the heaviest downpours easing up by the evening.
Environment Canada has also issued a wind warning for coastal areas of the North and Central Coast.
Southeast wind at 90 km/h gusting to 110 km/h will develop along exposed coastal sections Monday morning.
