The wildfire season is now well underway with the first evacuation orders of the year coming down.
30 properties near Anderson Lake have now been evacuated as a result of the Xusum Creek wildfire which has now grown to 300 hectares.
The Allie Lake fire near Kamloops has now been identified as human caused as well as more than 90 officials battle those blazes.
In the north east, over a dozen fires have sprouted near Fort St John and Fort Nelson, but are not threatening properties as of yet.
42 hundred hectares near Fort St John are being burned as a result of fires near Kahta Creek and Beatton River, among others.
Over 3 thousand hectares south of Fort Nelson have been charred after a dozen fires have sprouted there as well.
The wildfire service continues to monitor and develop attack plans for the blazes.
