Thick smoke has forced BC Ferries to delay the sailing of the vessel currently serving the central coast.
Officials say the MV Nimpkish is holding in dock at Shearwater after smoke delayed the arrival of its crew.
The smoke from wildfires has forced a number of airlines to cancel flights in many areas of the province.
BC Ferries says service will resume when it’s safe to do so.
