BC Liberal and Oposition Leader Andrew Wilkinson is putting pressure to quell soaring gas prices on the NDP government.
Gas prices in BC are currently higher than any other province in the country and have risen more than 32 cents per litre compared to the same time last year.
Wilkinson says it is no coincidence that this rise comes while the NDP continue to fight Alberta on the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion.
Wilkinson is calling for a temporary drop in provincial motor and carbon tax while the dispute is sorted out.
