Some good news for residents in Thornhill and Jackpine Flats.
Nechako Northcoast Construction says the majority of repairs to Williams Creek Bridge have been completed and the structure will be open to traffic at 5 p.m. Friday, March 9.
The bridge was washed out after heavy rain in October, leaving many area residents with commuter headaches.
Nechako Northcoast says crews will continue completing repairs on and around the bridge until the end of March.
The company is asking motorists to drive slowly and with caution as they approach the bridge and work zone.
