A Williams Lake man is in critical but stable condition in hospital after his bike struck a pickup truck.
RCMP says the 40 year-old cyclist was heading north on 2nd Avenue North shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The driver of a pickup heading in the opposite direction noticed the biker coming at him at a high rate of speed.
The driver pulled over to the right and was nearly at stop when the cyclist hit the driver’s side of the truck.
The biker, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered serious injuries to his head and was air-lifted to hospital in Kamloops.
