Williams Lake RCMP say they made 29 arrests during a three-week crackdown on thefts and vehicle break-ins.
The detachment says the project saw officers identify prolific and known property offenders in Williams Lake, make street checks, and nightly curfew checks after an uptick in vehicle B&E files.
RCMP say two people are on strict curfew conditions and three of the people arrested remain in custody.
Potential charges from the weeks long project include Possession of Stolen Property, Break & Enter, Theft from Vehicle, Possession of a Weapon, and Aggravated Assault.
Inspector Jeff Pelley says Williams Lake RCMP will continue to focus on the people police have identified in an effort to reduce thefts.
